Online Learning

Dear New Harmony Family:

Thank you again for another great week of distance-learning. Please continue checking our COVID-19 response page on our web site to find your weekly mandatory online assignments, which will be made available at 10:00 am every Monday

Parents, we have posted a parent/student FAQ document to the COVID-19 tab on our website. You can also access the document here.

Please feel free to send any questions or feedback to Katelynn, who has joined the team to help coordinate online learning, and will also be working to coordinate and support next year with project-based, cross-curricular learning rooted in our community. You can reach her at katelynn.clement@newharmonyhigh.org or 978-502-1092.

Stay safe and healthy.

One App Round One
Rosters are Here!

We just received our first roster for the 2020-21 school year and could not be more excited to welcome our new students to the community this Fall.

In light of current circumstances, we are working to make the enrollment process as smooth (and distant) as possible. We are finalizing our online enrollment system, but it’s not quite ready yet. You can expect to fill out your enroll forms via Powerschool on May the 1st. Please look out for an email from Hope which will provide all sign-up instructions at the end of April.

If you did not receive a welcome email from our Enrollment Coordinator, Hope, please reach out to her via email at hope@newharmonyhigh.org

Students of the Week:
9th & 10th Grade

Austin, Class of 2023

This week’s 9th-grade Student of the Week is truly Preparing for the Future. Austin Crews, to no one’s surprise, is proving to be a master of self-sufficiency and sustainability in a time where we need those commitments most. He is helping to feed himself and his family by planting fruits and veggies and by catching fish with the earthworms he finds in the garden. Austin never misses an opportunity to hone his skills or be creative with his resources: His partner in Fernando’s class? His 6-foot boa constrictor!

Mike, Class of 2022

Our sophomore student of the week is… Mike Bailey! Here are some testimonials from his teachers.

“Since transitioning to online learning Mike has stayed on top of it all. He has kept in contact with teachers, submitted assignments on time and asked great questions. Keep up the great work!” -Sierra

“A true extrovert, Mike has brought his best game to online learning. He logs in to all of his classes, reaches out to teachers for support and has turned online classrooms into a performance platform. Thanks for the laughs, love and hard work Mike!.” -Kitty
