Our sophomore student of the week is… Karkar!
From Kitty: “Kar’Lesha sent Katy and I a poem she wrote for Humanities project first thing Monday morning. It was the absolute best way to start of my week! She’s navigating all the challenges of online learning (clearly not her preferred learning style), spent 2 hours working on geometry with an online whiteboard, and never shows signs of fatigue or frustration. A true joy to see on the screen!” And, if that wasn’t enough, here is the review she recently received from her internship mentor: Kar’Lesha had a wonderful talent in art and was able to inspire in the students an interest in exploring art materials.” |
