Thank you so much for your patience as we smooth out transportation and student course schedules. What We’re Reading
This week the 9th grade began reading “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas in Jeff’s Humanities class. The book is a timely story that asks our students to consider the significance of justice, racism, and identity in a community. In turn, students will complete their own self-reflective projects titled “Know Thyself”, where they will consider how their identity is significant to the community. Stay tuned!
Community Contributors
Some of our sophomore students volunteered at a backpack drive as well as the St. Roch Back to School Jam this week after school. They filled backpacks with school supplies and spent their time doing crafts with younger kids at the Back to School Jam.
Should out to those who spend their free time serving others!
